Requests when taking Atelier Soleil original courses

A request for those taking Atelier Soleil’s original design courses.

Index

Eligibility

Anyone can take the courses.

However, Atelier Soleil’s original courses are designed for those who already have basic pastel art skills.

(For example, equivalent to completion of the Japan Pastel Hope Art Association Instructor Training Course and experience in Flower of Crystal Art)

Therefore, I cannot answer questions about tools or basic techniques.

Arrangement

If you are drawing for your own enjoyment, Atelier Soleil’s original designs can basically be freely arranged and collaborated with.

I hope you enjoy experimenting with colors, layouts, and other aspects of the designs.

However, if you wish to collaborate with designs created by others, please obtain permission from the original creator.

The techniques I use in my corses can also be used in other art forms.

Atelier Soleil original stencils may also be used in other artworks, but creating your own original course using the original stencils is prohibited.

Additionally, creating your own original course using arrangements of Atelier Soleil original courses is also prohibited.

(Previously, I received a question from a student asking if it would be possible to create a new Romantic Castle series course by replacing Cinderella with another princess in the Romantic Castle series’ “Cinderella and the Glass Shoe”, so I have implemented this policy.)

Lessons and Workshops

Conditions for opening classes

Those who are eligible to offer lessons and workshops are as follows.

  • Those who have purchased textbook or video courses from Yuika
  • Those who have taken lessons from Yuika
  • Those who have taken lessons from other instructors

Those who only participated in the workshop will not be able to open a class.

If you are taking lessons from Yuika or other instructors, please purchase the textbook or video.

This is because I want you to learn the original drawing methods and designs, and because it is easy to forget how to draw after some time has passed since taking the lessons.

Click here for the application form.

* I may offer advice on the artwork images submitted via the application form.

About opening lessons and workshops

The textbooks and videos you purchase cannot be used in lessons or workshops.

(However, in the case of online lessons, it is OK to use them to check the procedures as long as they are not visible on the screen.)

Some courses require the purchase of stencils for students.

Please check the textbook I provide for details.

  • Basically, the drawing process cannot be changed (it is OK to rearrange the order for efficiency).
  • Please provide the full version without omissions.
  • Please show the students images or copies of works drawn by Yuika. For courses that have documents to be distributed to students, please distribute the documents.
  • Please inform participants that the designs are original creations by Atelier Soleil Yuika.
  • Please inform participants that the designs are original creations by Atelier Soleil Yuika.
  • Offering additional benefits or added value when opening a course is prohibited.
  • Arrangements such as changing paper sizes, simplifying designs, and omitting drawing processes when necessary are acceptable.
  • Those who are active as instructors are not permitted to participate in workshops.
  • Please refrain from handing out documents such as stencils to workshop participants.
  • Workshop participants are not permitted to give lessons or workshops to others.
  • Those who wish to receive textbooks or videos must apply separately after taking a lesson, or take a textbook course or video course.

It is prohibited to create textbook or videos based on Atelier Soleil’s original designs or arrangements.

Exhibition of works, posting on social media, sales, etc.

It is okay to display completed works at exhibitions and art shows, as well as post them on social media and blogs.

(I would be delighted if you could post them, and I will leave a comment when I see them.)

When displaying or posting, please indicate that they are original designs by Atelier Soleil Yuika.

  • Atelier Soleil Yuika Design (+ title)
  • Atelier Soleil Original (+ title)
  • Atelier Soleil Original Design (+ title)

etc.

Also, when posting on social media or blogs, please enter these two points not only in the text but also in the images of the work.

  • Designed by Atelier Soleil Yuika
  • Your Name (Name of artist)

If someone expresses interest in purchasing your artwork after seeing it at an exhibition or art show, or after posting it on social media, you may sell it.

However, please refrain from displaying or posting works for the purpose of selling them.

Please also refrain from secondary processing such as printing images of works on calendars or postcards for sale.

Incidentally, I believe this goes without saying…

Please refrain from using images of Yuika’s artwork in your own menus, course advertisements, etc.

I have received inquiries about this in the past, and there have been cases where images have been used in course menus, so I am making this clear.

Textbook and Video

The purchased textbooks and videos are for your personal use only to check the drawing procedures.

Publication, resale, copying, or reprinting of part or all of the content is prohibited.

In addition, the creation of textbooks and videos of Atelier Soleil original courses is also prohibited.

Cancellation Policy

No refunds will be given after payment has been made.

If you cancel a lesson, I will generally change it to a textbook or video course.
However, if the same lesson is scheduled to be held at the time of cancellation, it can be rescheduled to that lesson.

If you are unable to attend at the start time of the lesson, it will be treated as a cancellation as it may cause inconvenience to other students.

I appreciate your understanding.

In addition, any special requests for each course are listed in the textbook.

Please check the textbook.

I ask for your understanding and cooperation so as not to cause misunderstandings or inconvenience to other instructors and students.

I hope that everyone can enjoy pastel art in a pleasant atmosphere.
